Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to give website owners basic information about how their site is used.

Cookies do not give us access to your device beyond the information they store, and they cannot run programmes or carry viruses. You can control whether cookies are placed on your device — see Section 6 for how to manage them through your browser.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active — cannot be disabled

Required

These cookies are needed for the basic functioning of our website. They manage your cookie consent choice (stored as cookieConsent in your browser's local storage). Without them the site cannot remember whether you have accepted or declined cookies.

Duration: Persistent (stored until cleared by you or your browser)

Analytics Cookies

Optional — requires your consent

Optional

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long people spend on them, and where they come from. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site. If enabled, we may use Google Analytics for this purpose.

Duration: Up to 14 months

Marketing Cookies

Optional — requires your consent

Optional

These cookies are used to understand whether visitors reached our website through an advertisement, and to track conversions. They may involve third-party services such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel. If you decline these cookies, advertising we run will not be personalised to you.

Duration: Up to 90 days

Preference Cookies

Optional — requires your consent

Optional

These cookies remember settings that improve your experience, such as your preferred language or region. If you decline them, you may need to re-enter preferences on subsequent visits.

Duration: Up to 12 months

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website may be placed by third-party services where we have enabled them. These may include:

  • Google Analytics — for website usage statistics (analytics cookies)
  • Google Ads / Meta Pixel — for conversion tracking if advertising is active (marketing cookies)
  • Google Maps — an embedded map on our homepage may set cookies related to the Maps service

Third-party services operate under their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing those policies if you wish to understand how they handle data.

4. Cookie Duration

Cookies can be either session cookies — which are deleted when you close your browser — or persistent cookies — which remain on your device for a set period. Our essential consent cookie is persistent. Analytics and marketing cookies have durations as stated above in Section 2.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for popular browsers are below.

Google Chrome
Open Chrome → Menu (three dots) → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block all cookies, allow cookies from specific sites, or clear existing cookies. On Android or iPhone, go to Settings within the Chrome app.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox → Menu (three lines) → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can manage cookie behaviour, clear stored cookies, and add exceptions for specific sites. The Enhanced Tracking Protection settings also affect some cookie types.
Safari (Mac & iPhone)
On Mac: Safari → Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security. You can block all cookies or remove cookies from individual websites. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some sites behave.
Microsoft Edge
Open Edge → Menu (three dots) → Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can choose to block third-party cookies, manage exceptions, and clear all stored cookies from this menu.

Note: disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website or other websites you visit. Essential cookies cannot be blocked without affecting basic site behaviour.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time by adjusting your preferences in Section 5 above. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that occurred before withdrawal.

For questions about how we handle cookie data or to exercise your broader data rights under Malaysian law, contact us at [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for full details of your rights.
